About Yellowstone: Yellowstone National Park is widely regarded and well known for being the world's first National Park, and is home to nearly 60 percent of the world's thermal features. In fact, it is these very thermal features, coupled with the park's majestic landscapes, waterfalls and abundant wildlife that brings millions of visitors a year to Yellowstone. Yellowstone was built for tourism, yet maintains its natural beauty throughout. The many hotels in Yellowstone were built to match to the surrounding environment, not only maintaining an aesthetic beauty but with practices consistent with maintaining the park's natural beauty.

Make no mistake, staying in Yellowstone's lodging isn't "roughing it." You'll find many modern amenities throughout Yellowstone's lodging to suit your needs. Visiting Yellowstone is a tour of a widely varying land. You'll find rivers, waterfalls, and notably Yellowstone Lake - the largest alpine lake in the United States. Lake Yellowstone Hotel and the Lake Lodge and cabins are there to suit visitors' needs. The geothermal features alone are worth the visit to the park, and who doesn't want to make a stop at the world-famous Old Faithful? Old Faithful Geyser, whose regular eruptions gave it its famous name, is highly visible from a visitor platform at Old Faithful Village. The Old Faithful area is home to the Old Faithful Inn, a historic hotel over 100 years old, the Old Faithful Lodge, where resides cozy and affordable cabin lodging, and the Old Faithful Snow Lodge, which got its namesake from being a stop for winter visitors.

Aside from these areas, Mammoth Village, Canyon Village, and Grant village are all great stops in your tour of the park. Planning a visit? Call our friendly and knowledgeable reservations agents today to secure your lodging!
